This channel is to help you understand the different counties in Hungary and a brief description about each one and its geographical location. We are also creating a map showing where different areas of property pricing can be found. We did this as a guide only and you do your own research.
Bács-Kiskun (Southern): Known for its agricultural production and the city of Kecskemét, famous for its fruit brandies.
Baranya (Southern): Home to the historical city of Pécs, rich in culture and heritage, with significant archaeological sites.
Békés (Southeastern): Features the Great Plain & agricultural output, especially paprika.
Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén (Northeastern): mountainous regions and mining history, including the city of Miskolc.
Budapest (Central): The capital city, a cultural and economic hub, famous for its vibrant nightlife.
Csongrád-Csanád (Southern): thermal baths and the city of Szeged, which has a rich culinary tradition.
Fejér (Central): Features Székesfehérvár as a historical center and former royal seat.
Győr-Moson-Sopron (Western): baroque architecture in Győr and proximity to Austria and Slovakia.
Hajdú-Bihar (Eastern): Debrecen, the second-largest city in Hungary, famous for its Calvinist heritage.
Heves (Northern): castles thermal baths and wine production
Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok (Central-Eastern): agricultural landscape and the Tisza River's scenic beauty.
Komárom-Esztergom (Northwestern): historical fortifications and the scenic Danube Bend region.
Nógrád (Northern): hilly terrain and medieval castles, including the ruins of Nógrád Castle.
Pest (Central): suburban areas around Budapest, with diverse communities and economic activities.
Somogy (Southwestern): Lake Balaton's southern shores and a strong agricultural base.
Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg (Northeastern): rich folk traditions and the Hortobágy National Park.
Tolna (Southern): blend of agriculture and industry, with scenic landscapes along the Danube River.
Vas (Western): Rich in hiking trails, it borders Austria and has a strong cultural heritage.
Veszprém (Western): "City of Queens," it has a rich history and is close to Lake Balaton.
Zala (Western): thermal baths and natural landscapes, including parts of the Balaton Highlands
